Chhattisgarh Medical Council is a statutory body and is the new Council formed, on 21st November 2001. The Council is a fast progressing body with the 13873 registered Medical Professionals on date.

The formation and launching of the website of Chhattisgarh Medical Council, was mandatory and is the demand of Modern era.

Chhattisgarh Medical Council is also trying to follow the new scheme of Medical Council of India, i.e. CME and accreditation Programme for Medical Professionals, in the State. This scheme has already been started in a few states and the launching of this website of Chhattisgarh Medical Council, is the primary requirement for this accreditation Programme.

Tremendous advances are taking place in the field of modern Medicine and are continuously changing the concept, approach to management and the outcome of several diseases and it is necessary for the doctors to keep themselves updated.

Now the accreditation programme and many similar issues can be taken care off and I am of the opinion that this would be a great help for the Medical Professionals of the State.

I convey my wishes to all the doctors in the state and hope that they will follow the Medical Ethics and Regulations, as per the MCI norms.
